In preparation for Boy Scouts, we combined our Webelo dens to create one big den with three patrols: Cobras, Scorpions and Sharks.
Our first overnighter at the Seddinersee with the Boy Scouts was a blast! The Boy Scouts spent the afternoon teaching the Webelos how to tie knots, the importance of fire safety and how to fuse & whip rope. The Webelos also had the opportunity to review their whittling chip and the Leave No Trace principles.
Later, the Webelo patrols were busy with their cutting boards chopping, preparing and cooking meals for the group.
No evening would be complete without a Flashlight Hike before gathering around the bonfire for some song and cheer, marshmellows and yummy smores!
